De Paul
School, Jashipur is a Catholic Institution, established and managed by the
North Indian Province of the Congregation of the Mission (C.M.) under Arts. 29
and 30 of the Constitution of India. This (Province) is registered under
Societies Act.No.1860 (XXI of 1860) as Vincentian Orissa Society in 1959. All its
members are Catholics, a religious minority community. (The Congregation of the
Mission, founded by St. Vincent De Paul in 1625, is very prominent in the field
of education and has School, Colleges and Universities of its own in almost all
the countries in the world).
As
a minority Educational Institution, De Paul School is primarily meant to cater
to the educational needs of the Christians. However it is also open to students
of other communities irrespective of cast, color or creed. It maintains its
Christian atmosphere, identity and character. Therefore, only Christian
worships will be conducted in the school premises.
De
Paul School, started in the year 2005, has obtained COR (MBJ-JPR-72) till 2027
and renewable is recognized by the educational department of Odisha. The school
follows ICSE Patten and has classes from Nursery to Std. VIII and gradually
will be upgraded.
